Erik de Jong Simply wonderful. Beautiful melodies. Tender, sweet and breezy.
Cities and Buses is amazing. Favorite track: Cities and Buses.

Jabod I'm puzzled why it has taken me 20 years to discover this group, who produced some of the most beautifully melodic indie pop I have ever heard. Now I will have to listen to this album about a hundred million times to make up for the two lost decades. Fortunately it is so catchy that this will not be a problem!

tboooe Been a huge fan since the Sarah records days. I hope Aberdeen continues to release material. Favorite track: Sunny In California.

about

The debut album, originally released on The Tremolo Arm Users Club, distributed by Better Looking Records.

"It's difficult to say if Aberdeen are back for good with this release, but I certainly won't register any complaints if they are. Homesick and Happy to Be Here is hardly a landmark or some sort of masterpiece, but it's still highly enjoyable, and that's ultimately what's important with music like this. If you're looking for an easy-going album with a strong melodic core, Aberdeen might be worth the trip." - Joe Tangari; Pitchfork 7.0
